Fauquier Sheriff Charlie Ray Fox joins Del Toro for a BBQ

More than two-dozen people gathered at Crockett Park in Fauquier County to meet Commander Del Toro (ret.). He was joined by Fauquier County Sheriff Charlie Ray Fox, who was also there to support Commander Del Toro’s campaign for the Virginia House of Delegates. Commander Del Toro and Sheriff Fox flipped burgers and hotdogs on the grill while talking with voters about the issues that matter most to them.

After serving up nearly three-dozen burgers and hot dogs, Commander Del Toro spoke about the need for stronger leadership in Richmond. “Mark Cole has not provided leadership on issues you and I care most about. We need more effective leadership to make sure we get our fair share of transportation funding, we reduce classroom sizes and we better protect this community.”

He also talked about his commitment to better engage with the constituents in the community to find solutions to the issues we face. “It is a representative’s duty to talk with the people of the district, so that their interests can be best represented. Our current Delegate is not engaged enough with the people of this community, and that's why a window into why he's so ineffective in Richmond.”
