September 24th, 2007 - More than 20 business leaders joined Commander Del Toro (ret.) and former Governor Mark Warner for an afternoon luncheon discussion of the challenges we face as a state and nation.
“We’re here to support Commander Del Toro,” said Governor Warner. “There will be plenty of time to help my race after November, but right now we all need to help make sure Carlos wins his race. Carlos has the experience and the vision to really move Virginia forward.”
Commander Del Toro and Governor Warner spoke of the need for all levels of government, local, state and federal, to work together and of their shared approach of bringing people together, across party lines, to fix the problems faced by Virginia citizens.
“I am so proud to be here with Governor Warner and all of you. This is the beginning of a long road to bring stronger and more decisive leadership to the Virginia House of Delegates, to better our community and to better our great state,” said Del Toro.
