Too often political candidates forget how much we all agree on and focus exclusively on the things that divide us. That may be a fine strategy to win an election, but it’s not a good way to work together to get results. Over the course of the next few months, I’m going to help publicize the issues and causes that we can all agree on, regardless of whether we are Democrats, Republicans or Independents.
Oppose High-Voltage Power Lines
Dominion Power has proposed building a high-voltage power line right through our community. Property values and the safety of our children will be needlessly put at risk. Some even want to have citizens like you and me pay to construct this dangerous project. This is a disaster that we can prevent, if we all work together.
I hope you’ll join me and thousands of our neighbors in opposing the construction of a high-voltage power line.
Also, see my statement against the recent federal decision in favor of Dominion.
